About Us AZTEX stands for A to Z of Theatrical Excellence. We offer weekly classes in dance, drama and voice training for students ages 3 to 18. Our classes are designed to serve those who wish to take the first steps on the road toward a career in the theatre and television industry, improve skills already learned, or who simply want to have fun, communicate and gain a higher level of confidence. Our classes are a balance between having fun and enjoying performing, yet developing the kind of discipline needed for rehearsals and stage work. Rather than just staging productions where cast learn specific scenes, songs and dance routines, we want our students to develop all round skills which will take them from one production to another, from one theatre group or company to another and from being a hobby to further training and professional employment. Our staff include qualified teachers and professionals. Each three hour session will consist of drama techniques, voice training and dance movement. We will strive to develop basic theatre skills leading to a more professional level of performance where selected students will be offered the opportunity to audition for professional agency representation. We will produce events which demonstrate and celebrate the creative abilities of all those taking part. Places at the school are strictly limited to ensure adequate individual attention. We are based at Highfield Humanities College, Blackpool.
